Having been in practice since 1998, SA Architect has developed a strong portfolio of reputable residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial architectural type projects. We are pleased to provide architectural services from the third floor of the Estate Place Building located in Lower Estate.
We use state of the art technology to plan and design a wide range of building categories.
Steve Augustine is currently the Principal Architect at SA Architect, a local company with office’s based in Lower Estate. His portfolio of works includes;

Steve’s portfolio of residential works ranges from affordable to lavishly constructed homes throughout the nine districts of the BVI. Steve remains keen on exemplifying how good architecture blends functionality with aesthetics.
Before venturing out on his own in direct pursuit of his childhood dreams, Steve worked at Town & Country Planning as Deputy Chief Planner. His physical workings while there included the design of the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park, the design of the Anegada Master Subdivision Plan and the fencing of the Queen Elizabeth II Park.
Steve holds the degrees of; MArch, MSc, MPM
and is registered as an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects.
As a former Olympian and athletic scholarship awardee, Steve is currently the President of the BVI Athletics Association and volunteers as a coach on one of the local clubs.
Steve is happily married with two children and resides in West End. Easy to approach and always willing to assist…..
Adrian James, Associate Architect
Adrian James has been employed at SA Architect for 10 years. Starting out first as a Cad Technician, today Adrian is a trained Architect having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture. With focus primarily on design and construction documentation Adrian devotes most of his days manipulating conceptual designs ensuring aspects such as functionality, adaptation and environmental sensitivity play a strong role in the delivery of each of our projects. Coupled with Adrian’s portfolio of progressive design work, Adrian is also skilled in various rendering programs and often leads the charge in the virtual visual representation of our proposals. Outside of design works, Adrian also serves as a construction manager for various residential projects. Outputs of his workings typically entails, status updates, earned value reports and scheduling. In his free time Adrian enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
